About the Producer
Patlanalan is a canyon area in the north of Puebla, bordering the state of Veracruz. It sits between two volcanoes, and receives the very cold air from Pico de Orizaba, one of those two volcanoes - also know in indigenous language as Citlaltepetl.
Ernesto Perez is the owner of both the APG wet and dry mill, and finca Fatima in Coatepec, Veracruz. Given the quality potential of Patlanalan, Ernesto started to buy cherries from 10 coffee producing families of this micro region and followed the same process as he’d do for any coffee brought to his mill.
