About San Juan Forest Fruit
The San Juan Cooperative was created in 1974 with 25 original members. Since 1994 they have been working with exporters to distribute their coffees worldwide. The Cooperative were certified organic in 2000, alongside acquiring certification for Fair Trade.
There are now 41 associated producers within the San Juan Cooperative, with the majority manually harvesting ripe cherries, using wet processing, pulping, fermenting and naturall drying on drying tables in the Bolivian sun.
