Cascara is the dried skins of the coffee fruit, these are normally a waste product of in the coffee processing chain. We have sourced cascara from a speciality coffee farm, and have used this in our new Cascara Rhubarb Sour beer in a collaboration with Burning Soul Brewery.
This is a sweet hot drink, with a dry mouthfeel and tasting notes similar to hibiscus.
How to brew...
Brew for 5+ minutes.
Brew your cascara as you would for loose leaf tea. Let sit for at least 5 minutes and strain before serving.
This is not coffee however, this product does contains caffeine.
