About our Dark Horse Espresso
Our house espresso blend changes components seasonally. Our goal is to make an espresso that is firstly a building block for a wonderful milk based espresso beverage, as well as interesting and complex on its own.
La Prosperidad de Chirinos is an established group with over 783 producers and 50 years of experience. La Prosperidad prides itself in having full trust from its members, making their logistics smoother despite the pandemic. Currently, ‘The Prosperity of Chirinos’ is supporting growers with crop diversification and food resilience so that they don’t need to leave their farms for food staples.
We have been sourcing amazing lots from Rafael and his family at Vinhal Estates in the Cerrado Mineiro region in Brazil for a couple of years. They specialise in producing quality, award winning coffees with experimental processing techniques.
Dark Horse Espresso is a Washed processed blend with the current components of 50% Peru La Prosperidad de Chirinos and 50% Brazil Vinhal Estates.
Our sourced coffees are always seasonally fresh with a consistent flavour profile with tasting notes of Brown Sugar, Orange & Dried Fruit.
