About Introduction to Espresso

As a part of a small group of coffee enthusiasts you will learn the theory of espresso and barista techniques to bridge the gap from home coffee lover to professional. Guided by Quarter Horse's most experienced barista, you will learn all about espresso theory and techniques. This will lay the ground work for you to go on and practice making wonderful coffee and teach you the basic skills needed to pull great espresso.

Course Breakdown

You will learn the theory behind each stage in pulling the perfect espresso. From grinding, tamping, all the way through to extraction. You'll taste the difference between good and bad espresso and by the end, know how to dial in your coffee to suit you.
