About the Producer

Hèctor is a biologist and a fierce activist in the protection of natural resources in the state of Veracruz, where he is from. He was the director of conservation of some of the biggest National Parks of Mexico for many years.

In the municipality of Coacoazintla, he professionally grows dozens of varietals of flowers, and recently added coffee, which he cultivates in agroforesty.

Hèctor's farm is at 1,400 masl and benefits from a very special climate that brings a lot of mist and cold, which means he harvests coffee two months later than most coffee farmers in Veracruz.

Most of the production is sold to the local market and this is the first year that some of Hèctor's coffee makes it out of the country, for our exclusive pleasure.
